Vietnam

Home to over 65 million motorcycles, vibrant lanterns brightening up every corner and irresistible hot chocolate, Vietnam stole my heart in so many ways. Spanning over 1,000 miles north to south, the diversity of this country is never-ending: from caves, mountains and rivers to beaches, water sports and my new unexpected obsession – ducks!

When is the best time to visit?

Since Vietnam is so vast north to south, the weather can really vary from top to bottom; as a result, the best months to visit will largely depend on where you are going. Typically, ideal months to visit Northern Vietnam is during the spring (March to April) and Autumn (September to November). Alternatively, If you are visiting the central region, anytime between February and August is recommended – however be aware that during June, July and August, the daily temperature averages around 30 degrees.
